I have done many things since leaving Nocona. My first husband and I were married for 28 years. During that time we did a little ranching and farming. I worked for Safeway for a few years as a seafood Dept. manager.
For 11 years I worked as a veterinary assistant. I had to quit that job because my immune system took a beating and I started contracting off the wall animal diseases. I filled a few more years doing secretarial work.
For 7 years, my second husband of 15 years,owned and operated a small RV park in the Wallowa mountains of Northeastern Oregon.
We lived in a very little town and really enjoyed the rural, quiet surroundings.
Not that I am prejudice, BUT.....LOL!!! We invite anyone reading this to come see this area of Oregon. There is an abundance of fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, rodeos, 4 wheeling, camping, and photography opportunities!
2015 I came for the homecoming parade. It was awesome to see people I had not seen in 40 years. Later that year we bought a small lot in Montague and moved from Oregon the following year.
We are enjoying our very simple retired life.0

Although I didn't Graduate from Nocona, my two years there were memorable. My Mom and Dad lived in Montague until 1999, so in a round about way I have kept a little bit in touch with what has gone on over the years. I would love for anyone who remembers me to email me with their memories.
