I moved away from Nocona in the 5th grade in 1942 and moved to Tipton, Oklahoma where I graduated in 1950, after failing one year in the 6th grade.
I spent 16 months in Korea in the army, and went to work at Tinker AFB at Oklahoma City for the Department of Defense in 1962, then transferred to FAA in Oklahoma City in 1979. I retired there in 1992.

We were doing several different things in class, when some of the classmates ask the teacher what she wanted them to do next, and she said just sit there and don't ask me what I want you to do next, and I will tell you what to do next when everyone is finished.
Well, immediately up goes my hand, and I ask her what she wanted me to do next.
She said, "Burris Price, if you even come close to me I'll..." (She never finished her sentence!)
